footprints ~ January 27th

This morning it was still dark outside when I let Bailey out. His footprints, winding through the mounds of snow, looked intriguing to me. So although this is not taken with natural light, I decided to post it as today's image anyway. We got hit with at least 8" of more snow yesterday. I guess the blizzard snowfall wasn't enough. I'm a New Englander! I can handle it! :-) "Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow....."

Love the contours of the snow with the prints. Snow is fine if you don't have to go anywhere. :)

That looks very cold (Brrrrrrr!). I hope Bailey was able to get back in without being frozen.

I love the shading in the snow.

Without the explanation I'd have guessed wolf tracks out in the cold darkness. Undoubtedly hunting for unwary, ill-prepared winter campers. Spooky.

Hi Lori I saw the snow reports this last week of the New England snow. You've got the right attitude for sure. Enjoy
