How did I miss this? Wonderful photo, Larry. I have one like this at home only it's in our one and only bathroom.

You Americans put your baths in the strangest of places :-)
Adalberto Tiburzi31-Aug-2004 09:36
If I remember them? I was born inside one of those... :-)

Reproductions of these are worth a fortune. Hmmm, no thanks Jeeves, a bit too chilly for me :>)

I remember these tubs.

Nice contrast of elements in the shot and really great colors.

Very nice colors and composition. I wonder if there are plants growing around the toilet too.

That is a very cool idea.... Thanks, Larry.

If you had 2 of these and glued them together you could make a good submarine.....

What a funky old tub! Love it! I like the grotto idea ... or perhaps it would make a super fish bowl (just don't pull out the plug!)
jypsee29-Aug-2004 16:18
You could stand it on end and put a statue in it like they do in Kenosha, WI, which Michael Feldman of "Whadya Know" on NPR calls the "bathtub grotto" of the nation....nice photo..

In tropical regions, this could be useful, but up there in the north...brrr
Nice shot, Larry

what a great old tub, love the colour and the flowers growing up the side.
Lori Rolfe29-Aug-2004 14:54
very appealing.... like the way the flowers are starting to overcome it..... it's like the original outdoor jacuzzi.... with the hot days we've been having here I'd use it... Yvonne's idea about a place to wash the dogs isn't bad either

Brrr , no thank you . Nice shot .

I never thought of bathing in the garden, but wouldn't it be wonderful, assuming privacy. Love the color of the tub.
Yvonne29-Aug-2004 13:16
With only a cold tap - no way! Are you going to create a water garden or is it
for bathing the dogs? Interesting picture :)
Herb 29-Aug-2004 12:52
Like the colors
Guest 29-Aug-2004 12:42
Well, I guess it´s ok in the summer but wouldn´t it be cold taking a bath outside wintertime? :-)
