I came across this now retired Canon A-1 35mm SLR while going through some old camera gear. This is how I found it, dust and all. It was the last 35mm film camera I used before making the switch to digital. I think I bought it in the late 1970's. I took the batteries out before retiring it so I imagine it would work just fine.
