New skis, January, and no snow! I hiked up to Lake Helen and skiied the narrow strip of snow in the draw just to play with my new Tele Savauge skis. Deep sidecut and wood core, and super responsive, these Tuas are the best skis I've ever had. Now they're vintage, retro, and still great skis.
