After seeing this and studying it with 8x binocs, I felt it was very unsafe to cross this slope to Kalmia Pass. In essence, my 2011 High Route was done at Mirror Lake. I couldn't see a safe course, and felt if I slipped after the crack, I'd be dead. So I took the low route to Papoose lake. Better to hike than be dead.
