We walked around Hoan Kime Lake on our last morning in Hanoi. We had about 5 hours before heading to Hanoi airport catching a flight to Da Nang. It was very foggy in Hanoi giving the city a surreal feel and look. Turtle Tower island is on the south end of the lake and took about 20 minutes of meandering to reach the south end. It was a beautiful walk around the lake.
