Joe Tripod in the brush at Gilluly Curve

Gilluly Curve, Utah view map

Field duty is at times challenging, but Joe is willing to go wherever support is needed. Standing in sand, salt, snow, and on sandstone are typical assignments. Here he is on duty in the brush at Gilluly Curve, where he helped produce this scene of decadence.

Wow! He's well built! My "el cheapo" is puny!

I'm a little concerned, Dave. He's clearly lost his level head. He's been in the background for so long, maybe he's lost his bearings over the attention he is receiving from having his own gallery. I shudder to think what he will become if he makes it to the popular galleries.

I think I can honestly say, I think, that in this photo,
Joe is head over hills above all others of his species.
