My support team on its way to Bonneville Speedway

Interstate 80 in Nevada

These two trucks are just part of my large support team. Setting a new world land speed record
is a complicated endeavor requiring many talented people, exotic equipment, and impressive
financial resources (I'm proud to say that my effort is 100% funded through begging).

At left are tires designed for my record attempt. The truck at right carries
some of the equipment needed to mount those tires on my Subaru station wagon.

Lee, I appreciate the cautionary message. I looked for tires at the stores you mentioned (and at Sears) but ended up having them custom-made to my specifications: details are, of course, confidential.

Dave, please watch tire pressure as these babies tend to blow if under inflated and hitting speeds in excess of 200mph. Keep an eye on wheel clearance also. Find these on the internet or Wal-Mart?
