My two arches facing Delicate Arch

Atop the "rest break blob" north of Delicate Arch

The top of Delicate Arch is visible at upper left. The nearly-level "bench" to the right of the arch
is where people sit after hiking up the trail. The Delicate Arch Trail runs from the bench slightly
downhill to the right, appearing above my right foot as a long, thin shadow on sunlit rock.

Michigan?
Yes. I can see the intelligence in that choice.
If anyone would adapt easily to otherworldly life it would be
a Michiganian,,

Certain varieties of sandstone have properties similar to those of kryptonite. Thus, to ensure his continued strength and existence, Superman eschewed the help of Sandstone Boy, Sandstone Girl, Sandstone Dog, and anyone from Michigan.

This has not one thing to do with this photo but how did Superman ever survive without
Sandstone Boy?

I remember Lois. Wow.

I remember well his skin-tight suit and cape.

He changed clothes in a phone booth......you remember those don't you?
Dave Beedon23-Jul-2006 08:46
Be patient, Larry. The whole world is watching, but only a few are looking in this direction. Superman also suffered: he lived in a constant state of anxiety about where he could change his clothes if he had to do so on short notice. Compare that condition to your disappointment and (please) share with me your thoughts. We're all in this together.

Okay, I guess I am the only one who thinks that's funny.
1moremile20-Jul-2006 01:51
This is what Superman see every time he is landing.

Larry, this is the first time that my boots have acted as reminders of waves. They are honored by the reference but have no desire to have a close encounter with water. (Inside joke between Listorama and 1moremile).

Ha ha . That reminds me of a certain photo of waves.......
