Hikers on the sandstone

Delicate Arch Trail (Arches National Park, Utah)

Several hikers can be seen here, following the many cairns that guide them
across the almost feature-less sandstone. This section of the trail is
probably the largest continuous expanse of rock I have ever walked on.

That's such an amazing space! The human figures make the image very powerful, as they give it perspective and depth and scale. Whoa!
