Panorama #4: Gooseneck's mesa and ridge

Gooseneck viewpoint on White Rim Trail, Utah

This formation, which has called to me since 2002, reminds me of the
deck and superstructure of an aircraft carrier. As I gazed upon this
sight I mulled over the almost unimaginable concept that in four
days I would walk on that "deck" and touch that "superstructure."
