Layer cake

Thelma and Louise Plateau, on Shafer Trail, Utah

Looking north across a deep stream canyon (bright red-orange rock beyond the
foreground vegetation) to the west edge of the plateau (gently-arcing greenish
"icing on the cake"). Towering above it all is Dead Horse Point State Park.
