The spirit of the Wild West is evident here, and thanks to the practice of pushing responsibility down
the chain of command, local affinity for bizarre architecture can flourish. This service center,
located at a high-traffic interstate interchange, is a prime example. The building was funded and
equipped by PBase headquarters but the design and construction were controlled at the regional level
to honor local customs and quirks. This facility was made to look like an abandoned truck stop.
Everybody in the area just loves it. In off-peak hours, the parking lot is used as a paintball arena.
