Convenience store

It's not Seven-Eleven or AM-PM Mini Mart, but it's just like a convenience
store for PBase customers on the go. Situated in a small town in Idaho, this
building used to be a gas station. Pbase acquired it during the Phase One
expansion and retrofitted it to serve distressed subscribers passing through
this picturesque valley. Schrewd planners foresaw the need for supporting
surfers who don't have time to linger in one place when on the road. Having
trouble with uploading from your car? Just pull off the highway and get
fixed in no time at all. Mobile wireless modems are a specialty.

Dave, I am most impressed with pbase's putting the customer's modem connectivity needs first, and not wasting money on a decorating budget, or does the "humble" exterior belie an interior opulence? Also, I like the natural landscaping.

Horsegoggles, you are indeed observant. The idea was brilliant, but the spacing of the barriers made them somewhat ineffective. The Area Director of Security was re-assigned to "The Blue Room" as an expression of management's displeasure with his level of performance:http://www.pbase.com/listorama/image/55931635 .

It encouraging to see that they have installed the concrete armadillo barriers. Always thinking of the subscriber.

All I can say about the office staff is that when I visited for a modem repair, I was so distracted by the attendants that I forgot what my problem was. Now I drop in whether or not my modem works.
