Snoqualmie Pass, Washington

This photo can mean only one thing: I am on another road trip (to Utah, of course!). I left on Saturday the 15th and got as far as Mt. Vernon, Oregon (a few miles west of John Day).

It was his first assignment of the trip.

On the way I stopped to get gas in Biggs, Oregon (on the Columbia River). In Oregon, drivers are not allowed to pump their own gas---station attendants must do it. I forgot and pumped my own gas. I wondered why the instructions on the pump were a bit odd. Once I realized my faux pas I apologized to the very busy attendant. I heard police sirens, so I got out of town fast. :-)
