This capture of a shy Philippine parrot feeding among "makopa" blooms replaces that of the immature Guaiabero in my elite list. The splashes of out of focus pinks and greens remind me of a painter's palette. With the bird reaching out to munch on a "makopa" bud, composition is enhanced. The focus was precise on the bird's head, rendering it sharp where it matters.
