First, put out a Bluebird House. The next thing would be to buy some meal worms and put them on a plate. The meal worms can be located fairly close to your house. They probably already have a nesting site in the area for this year. Depending how far north you are you may be able to entice them to stay around if you continue to feed them throughout the winter. Have seen a male and female in my yard flying around together from morning until evening. How can I entice them to stay?

Live in Maryland on the Chesapeake Bay. Had Eastern Bluebirds nest in my backyard last year for the first time. Was sooooo excited to see them here. They have already been back to my yard checking out the nesting box for this year. Hope they decide to take up residence again this year. The male's back is vibrant blue....so pretty!
