I’m feeling a little better about my veggie garden today.
We’ve had a bit of sunshine – not much but enough to get out there and try to see what’s what.
Despite it being completely waterlogged, I’ve been able to harvest the garlic – not a great harvest but what I’ve got means I won’t have to buy any for 2-3 months which is fab. I’ve picked more peas and broad beans for supper but best of all, I’ve dug up some potatoes – they’re there, under the soil, many unharmed by the blight, even though some have succumbed. Janet - your Dad was right!
Whooppppeeeeeeee.
So, my new serving spoons, bought yesterday in Truro are being put into use to serve up supper – the fruits of my labours……..now that’s what I call a result. The black out curtains are finished and hung and that’s what’s kept all of the unwanted reflections from this shot!
Last year, I was trying to emulate a great shot and failing miserably as is usually the way!
