Today dawned with the rude call of an alarm for the start of my meeting – luckily for me, the bar had closed early last night so I’d not had a huge volume of alcohol and I felt fine…..phew!

The morning seemed interminable and I was even relieved to find out that the ‘fun’ trip was on a boat. Given that I am seasick on a pedello, this was not good for me. My friend came to the rescue as she has small children who need all sorts of medication and her bag is, therefore, a mini-pharmacy and she had some seasick pills. Hurrah.

We went to Lake Cuomo and travelled its length on a boat, from which this picky is taken. What an amazing place – just goes to show that being a corporate whore isn’t all bad….in fact, sometimes it is quite good.

There are all sorts of things I could say about today but it’s enough for me to say it has been spent with friends.
