Our bait has been bitten – we’re hopefully now on our way to the life we’ve been striving for since we first came to this magical place. Watch this space.

Today has been exhilarating, terrifying and still an ordinary day.

I am now up-to-date with pbase for the first time in weeks and I’m pleased to have achieved that at least if not much more. I was sitting here with supper half prepared and the time 9pm trying desperately to find inspiration. David said ‘photograph supper’, I said ‘I’ve done that for two of the last three days’.

Groan.

Now though, I’m excited and happy but don’t want to tempt fate by telling the world so it’ll have to wait till we’re sure.

We love our decision and we’re clinging to one another despite the trauma of my gruelling work schedule and tiredness. Our animals are settled.

Soon, soon, we’ll get round to telling our friends where we are and why (no-one who doesn’t look at pbase knows yet because we’ve not told them) and soon we’ll get round to cancelling our standing orders/direct debits and other outgoings on the old house. My life can’t cope with any more stress than it already has.

So, David has gone and bitten me by cutting off my internet and making me change my email accounts and all else. He has promised me he’ll sort it out so I don’t have to worry and if he’s right then that’s grand but if he’s wrong one of two things will happen – either I’ll simply go under as the final straw breaks my back or I’ll lose my temper with him for making things more difficult than they are already – I hope he’s right!!!!!!!
