These were my favorite summer fruit back in Romania. When I was very little I use to crawl under the bush, according to my parents, and eat the berries when they barely changed color. I live in Australia now, in the subtropical part, and I haven't seen the fruit in ages. I drink cordials and tea made from blackcurrants, but I miss the real thing. This is the best photo I've seen in ages.
