How much fun it is choosing and wrapping pressies for your loved ones. I really get a thrill out of making them fab after buying them.

I always start the proceedings stumped for what to choose (not helped by a man who has VERY expensive tastes) I could only think of things he wanted at more than £1,000 so they were out of the question totally. Then people start asking me what they think he'd like - of course you can't tell two people the same thing so there go a few more possible ideas. Finally, almost by accident, I remembered a conversation of long ago about something he'd coveted for years. Just the job, but how to find one? Tricky because they stopped making them in the mid-80s.

Anyway, much ferreting about and many phone calls and emails later, I got one.

So, after a late-night home, I end up wrapping pressies till 9.30pm!
