I've been up North on business so David and I decided to make a trip of it and go to see Claz and Gaz at their new (well, new of 2 years now) home in Melton Mowbray.

Claire is one of my oldest friends and indeed introduced me to almost all of my closest friends, including David, my partner of the last three years. I so rarely see her these days that I sometimes forget just what it was that made us friends in the first place. We have so much in common - we love the same music and often the same men (PY!) and we share an interest in dogs, sparkly things and fake fur!

What I love most about her though is her total irreverence and imagination. These hairclips were on the tee shirt and being spun arond with gusto almost before they came out of the packet! Just what I'd expect from someone with whom I used to sit and polish my money before going out on a Friday night so when we opened our purses everything sparkled.
