Since going away on holiday the vegetable garden has been going crazy - warm sun and some rain has meant the plants are racing away.

Jo kept the greenhouse watered while we were away (thanks, Jo!) and we've come back to loads of small tomatoes forming. The scent of tomato plant is so evocative of summer and all things good. I think I could sell 'good feelings' by charging people £1 to walk through the door and getting them to inhale the scent.

I can't wait for these little beauties to turn red and juicy but in the meantime, tonight we've got pea and broad bean pasta - all home grown - yum!
