Now you see, I'm a girl but I like to think of myself as an unusual girl. I don't drag David round the shops every Saturday saying 'does my bum look big in this?' and other such trivial things. In fact, if we ever go shopping together at the weekend it's a quick scoot round what is absolutely essential. I hate all that.
On the other hand, I love tools. I'd happily browse the tool section of the DIY store all day every day looking for some new gadget that'll make my DIY life easier. I just love them. I'd be in heaven for my very own Rotozip and I'd be over the moon to receive an electric logging saw for my birthday. My parents and other friends despair as they watch me at the top of a ladder with an electric sander above my head.
Not David - we're tool soul mates (in fact we're soul mates altogether) - we both love the feel of a good quality set of tools and fight each other over who will do that sawing/drilling/routing etc. He says it's why we're perfect together - that's just made my day.
