Jan and Clive Gregson in the garden of the pub shortly before Clive took the stage in Walton-on-Thames last night. We've known Clive for more than 20 years, since his brief courtship with popstardom as the singer and songwriter of Any Trouble.

Clive now lives in the USA and only comes here to tour and promote his music so it's good to have the opportunity to catch up with him.

No matter how good his gig was, (and it was by the way)it'll never match up to the night when he played in my back garden on my 40th birthday. Now that was a privilege!......and it wasn't just that on that night he played Take That covers!
