We're just back from a weekend in the Wye Valley. One of my best memories of the weekend will be the smell of wild garlic from the flowers carpeting the woods in the Forest of Dean. Wonderful scent.

David believes himself to be a raingod....he could well be right - we've had months of dry weather and all weekend it's rained! Rain or no rain there can be few places so beautiful.
