Weirdly this isn’t actually a monochrome image but it just came out like one.

I spotted the shot when I walked through the hall and noticed the studio light waiting to be used by DM for his photo and thought “oooohhh – I like that” so here it is. And I still quite like it even though it’s decidedly colourless.

Even so, it’s a rather pathetic analogy for my day – putting things under the spotlight, finding out you know nothing, being two dimensional, living a lie, never managing to be a real scientist….

Do you see where this is going – glum!
