Christ's Resurrection Church is probably the main Kaunas landmark. Located on a hill it's visible from most of the city center. It's construction started in 1934. It was almost completed in 1940. The Soviet regime confiscated the building and turned it into factory. After Lithuania regained independence in 1990 the church construction resumed.
