Preoccupied

Chief's Island, Okavango, Botswana

This female warthog was so engrossed in rooting for her breakfast that we were able to approach on foot (walking-safari) to within about 5 feet from her.
She continued to ignore us for the entire duration of our visit.
Her half-grown son was much more skittish and ran away as we approached.
