Andean Emeralds & Purple Throated Woodstar [Left to Right]

Andean Emerald (Amazilia franciae) is a species of hummingbird found at forest edge, woodland, gardens and scrub in the Andes of Colombia, Ecuador and northern Peru. It is generally fairly common. It is green above and white below.

Purple-throated Woodstar (Calliphlox mitchellii) is a relatively small Hummingbird and is one of the four Calliphlox genera, the woodstars. The species is found in Colombia and Ecuador, and a minor localized population in Panama, 600 km from its main species distribution.
