in my opinion Svalbard islands at late February have the most beautiful light i have ever seen ,just because they are coming back from a long period of darkness. The sun would peek over the horizon, stay just high enough to turn the sky every color of gold, orange, and pink that you could imagine, and then it would disappear again.
