Re the comment on August 5: We just found a baldfaced wasp nest in a tree too . Why would we destroy a nest in a tree? They are not bothering us and keep other insect populations down since they feed on flying insects. The nest is a beautiful thing and to be wondered at, not destroyed. I hope after pursuing the husband for an hour they at least got a sting or two in!
