My first ever sighting of this cute little bugger was on May 14, 2007. I found him sitting on my window screen here in East Central Ohio on the shores of Atwood Lake. Color scheme on wings similar, looks to have a shorter torso, but fluffier and brighter yellow head than the moth pictured.

Found one of these moths on our screen this morning. Very stunning. It stayed all day.We left for a few hours late in the day & when we returned that evening it was gone. We live in South western Indiana. Can you tell me anything about this Rosy Maple Moth?
