While visiting Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuge near Smyrna, Delaware,
I had the opportunity of witnessing thousands of Lesser Snow Geese descending
upon the freshwater impoundments and tidal wetlands of the reserve.
As many as 200,000 Snow Geese visit this area in December.
