Entrance to Japanese Bunker
This bunker was the command bunker for the Navy's searchlight and anti-aircraft defenses.
Also known as 'The Admiral's Bunker' or 'Yamamoto Bunker'.
The spacious interior features impressive construction and massive rooms including living quarters and map rooms.
It is rumoured that this is the bunker where Admiral Yamamoto supposedly spent his last night before being shot down over Bougainville.
