The goals I set for the race were tiered: #1 - stay safe. #2 - have fun (in the grand scheme of life, there is no sense in being there if we didn't enjoy ourselves). #3 - finish under the 60-hour cutoff. #4 - finish under 48 hours to get the coveted Badwater finisher's buckle. So, leather in the desert? It was fun! We can get Nikki to do just about anything!
