I stepped out on the front porch, just before dark, to find this new hatch of baby spiders. I'm fairly
sure they are common Red Garden Spiders and it was fascinating to watch them sort themselves out and
climb the long strands of web that their parent had left for them so they could climb up under the eve of the house.
Presumably they will spread out and hide in the cracks and crevices of the roof to begin their life as insect consumers.
There are times when I swear at them because they tend to build thier webs across places where I walk
and I get a face full of web if I'm not careful, but I know they are useful critters and part of nature,
so I photographed them and left them to find their way in the world.
