I love to see nature's adaptations at work -- the female mallards are almost invisible, and in this mid day sun among the shadow of branches even the males do not stand out -- save for the attractive irridescent green caught by the light at this angle. In fact one of the four males is also almost invisible as the shadow he stands prevent the feathers on his head from attracting attention.
