Another Route 66 sign. The sign was recently refurbished for a Route 66 celebration. The business is
long gone though. People don't wear enough fancy hats anymore!
I think the name comes from the word Tulsa, which is Muscogee Creek language for "Old Town."
Great shot, especially since the sign refers to Alice in Wonderland. Hyperreality in the hinterland, where neither the real nor its representation exist anymore.
