a little sun

I have a sunflower plant that is growing out from under some rock border..
we didn't plant it, have no clue where the seed came from. Just one plant
but we've been anxiously awaiting the flowers. There are 15 buds on the
stalk and this morning the first, very top one, started to open.

A little sun for this Monday morning.. have a great week everyone!

onderful picture. Sunflower has a lot of character, and the composition with the leaves creating the diagonal line corner to corner is nice.

Lovely photo, I like the shallow depth of field compared to the other one, starting to get the hang of the exposure triangle, who said it was easy??? joke! joke!
