Polyphemus moth (Antheraea polyphemus), #7757

Larose Forest

We saw three of these moths, and two of the gigantic Cecropias. They range in size from roughly 4 inches to nearly 6 inches, same size as the Cecropia moth which appear bigger because of the different shape.
