The Falls - 2

Ottawa

The water is only open close to the falls, but as can be seen, the rest of the Ottawa River is frozen. A few ice fishermen were out on the ice, halfway across to Quebec.

A really beautiful and evocative picture, It conveys perfectly the feeling of winter as it should be. I like the yellowish hue in the waterfall, which echos the same nuance in the sky.
