"Stained glass"

Conroy Pit

This leaf was lodged on the trunk of a red pine. It reminded me of a piece of stained glass, but my photo does not do justice to how pretty it really looked.

I know what you mean about photos sometimes being unable to capture the full beauty of Nature as our eye sees it. However, I also agree with you that this colorful leaf, showing various stages of color change, does resemble stained glass.
