This shot was a sheer fluke. I was driving slowly down a forest road and stopped to take a look at something when this cuckoo flew over the car and landed in the trees across a ditch. I grabbed my camera and got a couple of shots, none of them really sharp, but I was very happy to get any shot at all of this beauty.
