Great "portrait" of this caterpillar. Do you know how colourful Emperor Gum Moth caterpillar? We used to collect them when we were children and keep them in shoeboxes with holes in the lids. We fed them plenty of gum leaves and they spun cocoons nicely. My mother often found old forgotten shoeboxes with cocoons just lying around the house - and put them outside by the trees of course!
