Interesting creature Christine. I'm not sure if I've ever seen one.

They have the most intriguing shapes! An excellent capture of this one. Do they eat moths? V.

I have a plague of treehoppers on one tree - Fiddlewood (Citharexylum spinosum). It is seriously affected, with branches turning sooty black and leaves dropping prematurely. I'm wondering if the plague is a one-off or will return to the tree next year and I need to do something (like seriously trim or even remove the tree)..
