Long-eared owl

On my walk through the woods this morning, heard chickadees and nuthatches raising a ruckus and figured an owl must around. Sure enough, high up in a cedar, this lovely little long-eared owl. Unfortunately for me, it was very high up and obscured by branches, so trying to get a clear angle was difficult. This was the best I could do. Naturally, the image is very heavily cropped. Anyway, any day I see an owl it is a red-letter day.
