Promethea moth caterpillar (Callosamia promethea), #7764

On 6 June I photographed this one and another one that was with it. Today I checked on them and found only one left, but that one has matured into a form more recognizable as a Promethea moth caterpillar. In time, if it survives, it will transform into a spectacular big moth.
