Black-capped chickadees

Walking through the woods, in snow sometimes up to our knees, we also saw some bare ground on south slopes, and in come areas boulders were exposed, so we put some sunflower seeds on one, when we saw a couple of chickadees flying in to see if we had food!

Des graines qui ont vite trouvé des amateurs. C'est superbe avec l'oiseau qui tient une graine dans son bec.

How happy they are - and they sure are thankful for the seeds!

They are opportunists! I almost got one to come to my hand in the yard the other day.
